It’s that time of year again! Pumpkins, leaves, apples…and dues renewal. Yes, yes…it’s time to renew your VTLA membership! You can renew online, over the phone, or through the mail using the invoice which should be arriving in your mailbox soon.

Shout out to Lisa Jackson in Norfolk for being our first member to renew this year! She said, "The question and answer/brainstorming that takes place on the listserv is invaluable.  I will never let my VTLA membership lapse!

It’s a quick and easy thing to scratch off your “to do” list. It’s important to do it now so that you’re all setup and ready to go for 2022. Do it today!

National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from September 15 to October 15. The observation first began in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson, was later extended by President Reagan in 1988 and continues today.

Thanks to Charlene Morring, co-chair for the Diversity & Inclusion Alliance, for sharing some history about this important month and ideas for learning more and celebrating.
