The VTL Foundation has launched its inaugural scholarship/internship program to introduce a diverse group of students to a career in trial practice and to our Association family, and we were overwhelmed by the quality candidates who applied. We are pleased to announce that we have selected two outstanding candidates to receive the 2023 Diversity and Inclusion Foundation Scholarship as well as having our scholarship winners placed at a VTLA-member firm for a 10-week internship this summer.

February 8, 12-1 pm - Scott Perry

Cross Examination: Uncovering the Weak Points

In October, we watched Stephanie Grana conduct voir dire in our wrongful death case. In November and December, we watched outstanding openings in vastly different styles with Amberley Hammer and Joe Fried. In January, Karen Evans presented our client’s suffering through direct examination of an expert witness.

Scott Perry picks up the program in February with cross-examination of an expert. Watch one the state's highly skilled litigators in action, and he’ll divulge some of his most important techniques afterward. The recordings of all previous programs are available to you so you can catch up if you missed them. Register today to join us for the last 3 installments.
