Join us for our first retreat designed especially for the more experienced paralegal or legal assistant! This program will focus on those hidden issues that can totally disrupt your cases. If you have five years or more experience in litigation, this event will prove to be a true getaway while providing you with the knowledge and skills to take back to the office on Monday. Open to any paralegal or legal assistant who works on auto accident, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, family, and criminal law matters. 

Enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains while you share ideas and learn new skills along with your peers. Our retreat will begin at 11:30 on Friday, August 20, and will conclude at 1:15 pm on Saturday, August 21. VTLA COVID-19 Policy:
At every VTLA program, we do our best to provide a safe and healthy environment. We are constantly monitoring the pandemic situation and will continue to adjust requirements to ensure that environment for all.

The CDC has updated its guidance (July 27, 2021) to recommend masking for fully vaccinated persons in indoor settings in areas of substantial or high community transmission. Per the CDC tracker, the state of Virginia is at a high level of community transmission. Therefore, as a precaution, we will require all attendees to be fully vaccinated* and masks will be required worn at all times while indoors at our program, unless eating or drinking.

* This includes a 2-week waiting period after a second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Our CLEs are paperless. Materials are sent electronically to the email address we have on file for you.
Retreat materials, along with the CLE Certificate of Attendance, will be emailed to you 1-2 days prior
to the retreat so that you may print any materials you may wish to have with you.
