New trial lawyers may find Mild Injury Soft Tissue (MIST) cases a struggle because defense attorneys and insurance companies have developed sophisticated strategies to minimize these claims. Our program will provide a clear framework for building confidence when handling cases that may initially seem weak or challenging. You will learn effective techniques specifically tailored to soft tissue injuries, where physical evidence may be limited.

Who Should Attend: Open to plaintiff attorney members in practice for ten years or less. Leave with a transformed perspective on MIST cases, viewing them not as problematic files but as opportunities to demonstrate advocacy skills and achieve meaningful results for clients. You will gain the confidence and competence to turn hazy cases into winners, building both their professional reputation and your ability to serve clients effectively in an often-undervalued area of practice.

Topics At A Glance:

  • Voir Dire and Public Speaking
  • Litigating MIST Cases in GDC
  • Pulling the Bills
  • Objections and Motions
  • Experts
  • Defense Perspective
