Synopsis: The world is changing – and auto litigation is changing with it.  Legal, social, and technological shifts are transforming how crashes happen, how evidence is created, and how cases are decided. And plaintiff attorneys who don’t keep up risk falling behind. This two-day retreat, the second exit on VTLA's Route '26, takes a deep dive into the forces reshaping auto cases, from artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles to shifting insurance frameworks and the growing complexity of binding arbitration in rideshare cases.  Beyond the law, this program explores the human side of modern litigation. How do Gen Z and Gen Alpha jurors see the world and how does that change jury selection? What does constant video evidence mean for liability and damages? How has social media changed the way plaintiffs are viewed? Attendees will also gain insight from a judges' panel on how emerging technology is influencing the courtroom, as well as strategic guidance on focus groups, pre-suit planning, and negotiation psychology in a time when adjusters are harder to move than ever. This is a forward-looking program designed to help plaintiff attorneys adapt, sharpen their approach, and position their cases – and clients – for success in an ever-changing world.

Who Should Attend: Plaintiff personal injury attorneys who want to stay ahead of emerging trends in auto litigation, sharpen their case strategies in this rapidly changing world, and better understand the technological, legal, and human factors influencing juries, judges, and insurers today.
