VTLA brings a premier masterclass to those of you attending in person! Come early to see and hear Mike Ganino, our featured keynote speaker, known worldwide as a culture + storytelling expert who helps executives, teams, and thought leaders communicate, connect, and engage. In this masterclass on Arbitration, Mike will explore and demonstrate Hollywood and Broadway skills to help you craft case-winning courtroom scenes.

Every day, jurors, mediators, and judges decide the fate of your clients based on how they feel about what they believe to be true. It’s no secret that good trial attorneys can weave strong narratives – but the best are the ones who know how to deliver a spellbinding performance that leaves no trace of doubt. In the world of theater and television, the best performers are not the ones who are best at pretending or faking, the best are the ones who know how to deliver an honest depiction of the human condition. The best trial lawyers know how to do that as well.

In this performance-based masterclass, you will:

  • Uncover the three core techniques actors use to bring their stories to life with genuine stage presence,
  • Punch up your narratives up so they connect, engage, and convince your jurors,
  • Master the Five Stage Languages that all great storytellers leverage to craft convincing arguments,
  • Incorporate a rehearsal protocol so that you can be completely in the moment, in a focused and authentic way,
  • Develop the skills of a Director so you can make critical choices about how to stage your arguments, manage the stage – errr, the courtroom –, and create powerful scenes that leverage genuine human experience.

This special event is open to all VTLA members. No CLE credit is being offered - what you will learn will be priceless!
