8.5 hrs CLE (1 hr Ethics)

Join us in the beautiful Old Town Alexandria! Our biennial event returns this year with a focus on using our clients’ resources wisely, from consultation to mediation and litigation. This is a rare opportunity to meet and share advice and open dialogue with members of the bench and bar in an off-the-record setting.

Registration opens at 11:00 am on Friday, February 2. Lunch is served at 11:30 and our program starts at noon. Stay after we adjourn for a cocktail reception. Breakfast on Saturday starts at 8:30 and our program begins at 9 am. Lunch is included and we end at 2:30.

CLE Certificate and Materials: 
Retreat materials, along with the CLE Certificate of Attendance, will be emailed to you 1-2 days prior to the retreat so that you may print any materials you may wish to have with you. If you would like to access these materials while at the retreat, bring your laptop or tablet. 

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early and come to the VTLA registration table to check-in.

VTLA has a limited block of rooms available at a discounted rate of $159. Group rate is available two (2) days pre and post based on the hotel’s room and rate availability. Call the hotel directly at (703) 549-6080. Be sure to mention you are with Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. All reservations must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Rooms will sell out fast - our block expires on January 12, January 24, 2024. You may also book your room online here.

On-site parking is available in the hotel's underground parking deck. VTLA has a discounted $25 rate for overnight parking. An Electric Car Charging Station is available. Garage height clearance is 6 feet 3 inches - limited parking for vehicles over 5 feet 8 inches

WE HOPE YOU WON'T, but if you must cancel, the VTLA cancellation policy applies to all paid meeting events, including any scheduled social events. All cancellations or changes must be in writing. Cancellations received before materials are emailed will be refunded the registration fee paid less a $100 cancellation fee. Due to guarantees required to our vendors, no refunds will be given after that point. Thank you for your understanding.​​
