In September , VTLA’s Pro Bono Committee partnered with the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation (GRBF) to supply volunteer lawyers for a Wills Clinic at Senior Connections in Richmond. VTLA’s volunteers were trained onsite by the GRBF team to provide a basic Will, Power of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directive to those in need. Through the training, mentorship, and templates provided by GRBF, it was simple for volunteers to make a difference in the lives of Senior Connections’ clients. Thanks to VTLA’s volunteers, 13 seniors obtained necessary life planning documents!

Wills Clinics are an easy and rewarding way to give back to your community and complete pro bono hours. Stay tuned for upcoming volunteer opportunities with VTLA’s Pro Bono Committee.
