Bring your voice to the Virginia State Bar by running for a seat on the VSB Council. There are many openings across the state, so check your circuit for openings here. (Make sure your contact information is current in the VSB’s records before March 15 to ensure that you are eligible to run and to vote in your circuit.) Don't delay - you must apply by March 22 at noon.
In order to run, you must:
- file a nominating petition signed by not fewer than ten other members eligible to vote in the circuit,
- write a statement of qualifications not exceeding 150 words,* and
- provide a digital headshot (.PNG or .JPG).**
Annual elections will be held by electronic ballot in April 2024 for terms beginning July 1.
