1 Program with Joshua D. Silverman

For over 18 years, Joshua Silverman has represented Virginians harmed by medical malpractice, defective products, abuse at nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and serious automobile and trucking accidents.

Prior to opening the Silverman Law Firm LC, Josh was a partner with Williamson Petty LC (previously Williamson & Lavecchia LC) in Richmond. In addition to his trial practice, Josh has testified at the General Assembly on the rights of nursing home patients and he frequently lectures to lawyers on topics related to litigation and legal ethics.

Josh is a member of the American Association for Justice's Nursing Home Litigation Group. He is a member of the Board of Governors of VTLA and is a former chair of the Young Trial Lawyers Section, the Long Term Litigation Section, and Legal Ethics Committee. Josh is also former editor of The Journal which is published by VTLA and he has published several articles in The Journal. Josh regularly volunteers his time at the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society and provides pro-bono representation as needed for the Legal Information Network for Cancer.
