1 Program with Hon. Robert L. Bushnell

Bob attended public schools in Franklin County and Martinsville and is a member of the VMI Class of 1973. He is a graduate of Hampshire College and received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1978. He spent two years in the Virginia coalfields doing public interest law, two years in general practice in the Charlottesville area, two years as an assistant prosecutor in Henry County and five years in general practice in Martinsville before becoming Commonwealth’s Attorney for Henry County in 1990. He held that position until he took office as a judge of the 21st District Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on July 1, 2013. He sits in the City of Martinsville and in Patrick and Henry Counties.
