Our expert faculty will provide you the tools, techniques and insights you need to get the most out of your depositions.    

Faculty will then work with you in hands-on breakout sessions, using a fact pattern from one of your own cases, to provide the immediate feedback and reinforcement you need to most effectively implement the techniques you’ve learned.

  • Phil Miller, an outstanding Nashville trial lawyer, will share his renowned deposition mouse-trapping techniques and his skills in deposing difficult witnesses.
  • One of the country’s foremost litigation consultants, Charli Morris is recognized for her remarkable work with trial lawyers in preparing and evaluating witnesses.
  • Chuck Zauzig’s trial preparation skills and unique approaches to deposing experts have laid the foundation for his very successful national personal injury practice.
  • VTLA President Lisa O’Donnell chairs the VCTA and possesses a wealth of witness prep experience. She has taught other deposition colleges around the country.
  • Lee Livingston, an exceptional trial lawyer, brings to the table extensive experience in preparing witnesses for deposition and trial.

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellations postmarked 2 weeks prior to the retreat will be refunded the registration fee, less a $75 administrative fee. No refund will be given for cancellation after that date, but you may request that your registration fee be credited toward future VTLA programs if you notify us by noon on May 14.
