Investigating the Truth,
Negotiation and Issues of Proof
Investigating the Truth
Hear about different ways to find out and use what the Defendant was really doing when he caused our clients’ wrecks.
- Steve Chewning regarding the latest in passenger vehicle black box technology – when it is available and ideas about how to access what it has to offer.
- Greg Webb will tell us about other formal and informal tools of investigation, and how he gets the most out of his distracted driving cases.
Negotiation
Talk with a panel of defense attorneys and hopefully insurance adjusters about what they need and want from us; what they think constitutes an effective presentation of a plaintiff’s case.
Issues of Proof
- Economist Dr. J. Carl Poindexter, Jr. will talk with us about how an economist can add value to our cases.
- Maximizing recoveries for clients who are diagnosed with concussions and the related conditions of post-concussive syndrome, PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression. This section will also consider effective use of treating health care providers as experts.
- Jack Berry, who has recently returned to private practice after years as a Circuit Court judge, talking about what he learned from the bench and how we might use that information to be the most effective advocates we can be for our clients.
And, of course, don’t forget the ever popular
